Ways to Give

Friends of Kyoto University North America Branch (d/b/a Kyodai Collaborative) is a registered non-profit organization in Washington, DC with 501(c)3 tax-exempt status from the IRS. All donations made to Kyodai Collaborative are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Friends of Kyoto University North America Branch (d/b/a Kyodai Collaborative京大コラボ)は、ワシントンDCの非営利団体として登録されており、IRSより501(c)3免税の認定を受けています。京大コラボへのご寄付は、法律で認められている範囲内で税控除の対象となります。

You can support Kyodai Collaborative by:

1. Donating via the following options:

1) Digital Payment Service

2) PayPal Giving Fund

PayPal Giving Fund covers all transaction fees so Kyodai Collaborative receives the full amount of your donation. You can donate using your PayPal account as well as by credit card.

*Currently, our PPGF donation page is unavailable.  Coming soon!

3) Via Stripe

Stripe deducts a service fee of 2.9% + 30￠, from your donated amount.

4) Matching Gift Program

Kyodai Collaborative is enrolled with Benevity, an online global donation platform. Please check if your company will match gifts donated through Benevity or if your company has another matching gift program to amplify your impact!

5) Check

Checks can be made payable to “Friends of Kyoto University North America Branch” and mailed to:

If you are generously planning on donating between $10,000 to $60,000, please contact us directly or kindly donate via PayPal Giving Fund. If the donation amount is over $60,000, please contact us directly.

* We are currently unable to accept donations from constituents in Alabama, Colorado, North Dakota, and Tennessee.

• Supporting Kyoto University’s early career researchers achieve their goals of expanding their research and future opportunities outside of Japan through the Shida Scholarship Program.
• Growing overseas audiences and support for Kyoto University in the North American region through our webinar and leadership development programming
• Promoting Kyoto University by highlighting research and international collaborations in diverse fields through webinars
